Atherfield Apartments are a collection of seven traditional holiday homes set within an impressive Edwardian villa. These charming properties provide a welcoming retreat in a peaceful, yet prime area of Paignton, being just a stone’s throw from long sandy beaches and Paignton’s quaint fishing harbour.

Enter the grand building through the well-presented communal hallway where you will find a sunny conservatory and comfortable seating offering a selection of books and visitor information.

Lawn Side is a lower ground floor apartment with a large family bedroom, here you will find a double bed and cosy bunk beds, suitable for children up to the age of 10 years old.
The living room is thoughtfully furnished and offers a comfortable lounge diner and a fully equipped kitchen, the perfect base to retreat home to after a long day out exploring the bay.

Accommodation comprises:

Open plan living room with lounge/diner and full kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster and kettle
Family bedroom with double bed and children’s bunk bed
Shower room with large shower cubicle, wc and sink.
Onsite parking available - there are a limited amount of parking spaces in the communal car park, and plenty of roadside options available

Atherfield Apartments are conveniently located in the peaceful area of Roundham, approximately 0.3 mile to Paignton seafront in one direction and glorious Goodrington Sands to the south. A short five-minute stroll away you will find the quaint fishing harbour which is lined with great restaurants and cafes. From here you can jump on one of the many boat trips on offer, from exhilarating rib rides, boat safaris, or leisurely ferry trips across the Bay to neighbouring Torquay and Brixham.

Tucked away behind the harbour you will find Fairy Cove, a hidden gem to discover during your stay at Atherfield Apartments.

Paignton itself is set in the heart of Torbay, a scenic part of South Devon known as the ‘English Riviera’. It boasts everything you need for a memorable holiday.

Paignton has long, sandy beaches with colourful beach huts, impressive promenades, a traditional seaside pier and an array of coastal amenities. From building sandcastles to paddling in the sea, playing ball games and enjoying relaxed drinks and ice creams together, there is something for everyone in Paignton.

The town centre is nearby so you will easily discover a wide choice of shops and restaurants. Visitors to Paignton are in the right place to sample some of the amazing fresh fish that is on offer at restaurants around the town, and in particular down by the pretty harbourside.

It is also a wonderful area for walkers. Glorious, long walks along the stunning coastal path lead to scenic cliffs, sandy stretches and hidden coves.
