Careiau Esgid Lodge

Careiau Esgid Lodge is a family-friendly, holiday home in Wales, with a hot tub, shared pool, mini golf and games room. Located on the fringes of Snowdonia National Park, it also makes an exceptionally scenic and strategic base for exploring this spectacular area of Wales.

Comfortably sleeping up to 5 guests if rented alone, or 10 guests together with neighbouring Pen y Cwm, Careiau Esgid is ideal for a family group. Well-equipped and spacious inside and out, there is always a fun activity to try.

Outside is a mini-golf course and heated pool for warm sunny days together out in the open. A private hot tub awaits for a luxurious soak after exploring the mountains. A barbecue is on hand for relaxed meals outside.

Inside, you’ll find family games, DVDs and a PlayStation in the open plan living area. Here you can prepare meals in the kitchen and unwind in comfort in the cosy sitting room.

A few steps from your lodge is a games room equipped with a table tennis table, darts board and snooker table, so perfect for family tournaments. Listen to your own music here too on the blue tooth speaker.

There is also a handy laundry room next door, as well as a chilled beer fridge and a set of golf clubs to use outside.

Careiau Esgid means ‘boot laces’ in Welsh, an indication of why most guests love it here. For active families who adore exploring the mountains on foot or by bike, it is an exceptional location.

Living room, kitchen and dining area with TV, PlayStation, DVD player, books, games and DVDs. Electric heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher.
Triple bedroom bunk bed, with a double bed below and single above.
Double bedroom with king-size bed
Bathroom with bath, shower and wc. It is en-suite bathroom to the double bedroom, with Jack and Jill access for other guests.
Patio area with furniture, hot tub and barbecue.
Off-road parking for 2 cars.
Heated outdoor swimming pool (shared) and open from mid-April until the end of September.

This property is located in a quiet hamlet with neighbours, so no loud parties or all adult groups are allowed. It is best suited to families and couples only - thank you for your understanding
